First Day of School.

So today was my first day of junior year, meaning that I only have one more first day of high school in my schooling career. Yay! Well this morning was actually okay. I woke up at the right time which if you don't know me well is a great improvement. After getting up and ready I made my lunch which was small but still good. I then made myself half a bagel to eat for breakfast. Once I was all ready to go it was about 6:45 and my ride was just pulling up to my house. I'm very thankful for this ride so that I don't have to ride the bus that often. Once we arrived to school the entire student body was kept in what they call the "Commons" until 7:15 when we were allowed to go to homeroom.
For homeroom I have Ms. Kilburn who I had for Foods freshman year and didn't really like to begin with, its a good thing that we don't have homeroom to often after the first few weeks of school. After spending almost 45 minutes in homeroom I made my way to first period.
First period is Honors US History with Mr. Bargehlo. He seems like a pretty cool guy, he's younger and graduated from JRob. He coaches football and is pretty cute even if he is a teacher.
Second period was okay but thats my freshman class due to the fact that it is Spanish I. I have Ms. Legra who is stick skinny and like a model but has a great obsession with shoes, which isn't a bad thing.
I have Honors Chemistry with Ms. Lowder for third period, and despite how her name might sound she puts me to sleep. Chem is a hard class to begin with and she drowns on and on with a soft pitched voice that just doesn't keep me interested. This class will be a struggle I'm sure.
Lunch was different. At Northwest it was a hunt and peck to find a seat on the first and then after that you were set. The cafe was always also very loud. Both of these things though didn't happen at Cox Mill. They even let us leave the "Dining Hall" as they call it to enter the "Commons" to socialize.
Honors English III is my final class of the day. My teacher Ms. Campbell, seems okay but you can't really judge from the first day. I know she has pretty good taste in Literature, which is a plus because it is a passion of mine, but I have a feeling she will get rather annoying rather quickly.
Today didn't drag on as I thought it would, it was rather quick and painless. I'm just wondering what the rest of the week will bring.
I miss Mariah and Savannah and seeing there faces, I felt homesick during the day because I didn't have the chance of running into them. Hopefully this will get better.

  1. It sounds like you have alright teachers and Cox Mill sounds like a more organized place. Lunch yesterday for me was like culture shock. Wayyy too many people. I hope you have a good day today and I will be praying for you!

    Lova ya!

  2. >What is the commons? Is it like how everyone likes to congregate in the cafeteria in the morning? I'm picturing couches, but I think I'm wrong.
    >What is JRob?
    >I'm glad you like Ms. Legra. She'll probably have you do a lots of arts and crafts stuff (which isn't my idea of a Spanish class), but hopefully you'll like that. Lol.
    >Your lunchroom is quiet? Goodness; that's just wrong. Lol.
    >What are you going to read in English? My class is going to read a play called 'The Crucible' sometime soon.
Love ya, girl. I hope it gets better and that we can get together within the next week!

  3. The commons is the big hallway with high ceilings where the entrance to the library and the office is located. JRob is JM Robinson High School. Yes the lunch room is quiet and has very few people in it while I have lunch. Kinda awkward but you don't have to hunt and peck for a seat. lol. We're starting with The Scarlett Letter, but I know we are reading The Crucible at some point.

I hope I can see you soon too!
