Its been a while, soo sooo sorry

Sorry it's been so many days since my last post and you won't be getting much out of me tonight because I'm exhausted. Two weeks from now, hopefully this exhaustion will fade because AP classes will be done with. Well goodnight loves! :)

So its been a while, and I'm sorry

I know I'm not doing that well with this whole blogging everyday thing, I've been busy, not feeling well, and extremely tired so by the time I get into bed I'm already asleep.

My week has been crazy. I've had tons of homework, meetings after school, dealing with my crazy relentless teachers that just never stop handing out the homework. AHHHHH it makes me just want to scream. Thankfully tomorrow is Friday and I am getting out of my house so there is another plus to the week ending. Well sorry its soo short tonight, but I need to get to bed so that I can function in the morning for my math quiz, oh what fun!! :) I'll tell you all about my day tomorrow, I promise! :)

Caitlin is rather exhausted and is just going to tell you that coming back from spring break SUCKS! I'm going to bed sorry this isn't more, maybe tomorrow.

I want an acorn and an oak tree

So I teased ya'll last night because I didn't post about my AMAZING time at Elon so I figured I would do it tonight. How do I start?? First off I guess I can say that this is my top choice and this is where I feel that I would be able to really be myself and be able to make a difference.

At the Spring Open House that I attended on Saturday, I got a tour of the Campus, which happens to be ABSOLUTELY beautiful, learn about some of the different majors, the campus life and hear from students about how Elon had changed their lives and why they chose Elon.

First of all, the campus at Elon University is so beautiful, its on 140 acres and has tons of tree surrounding it. It was built in 1889 and all but one of the building burnt down in a fire that happened in 1929. That is where their mascot came from. Before '29 Elon was the Fighting Christians since then they became the Phoenixes because a phoenix rises from the ashes which is exactly what they did when they decided to rebuild the school. Being on campus just for that 10 hours was amazing and I felt that if I attended Elon that I would feel at home, in every sense of the word.

The professors at Elon seem great. I heard testomonies from students saying how much they felt that the professors wanted to see you succeed just like anyone else that cares for you. With Elon being a rather small school only 5,000 students classes are small and every students gets a more intimate bond with their professors.

The students at Elon seemed to really enjoy it, and a plus was that every single one couldn't find one negative about it. They all felt like this was the best place on earth and that is something I find truly amazing.

My day at Elon was one of my favorites and with my sights set on Elon, I only have two issues as of right now; my SAT score, and the cost, but as soon as these things can get sorted I will be well on my way to being a Phoenix. Well other than the application process and actually getting accepted.

Visiting Elon was a great way to finish off my break, and now I'm going to bed because we have school tomorrow. A friend of my put it in perspective for me though, we only have 9 Mondays left. Lets make sure these 9 Mondays rock because soon enough High School will be over and we will all be far apart and the memories we make need to last us a lifetime! :)

Long Long Day

So I visited Elon University today and while I would love to tell ya'll about it I'm not feeling well, so you are getting a sentence or two and that is all because I am going to bed. I'll tell you all the wonderful details tomorrow and I'm sorry for not blogging last night. I fell asleep before I even had a chance. Hope everyone's Saturdays were great I know mine was!

Blogging and Bedtime

So I'm ultra tired today for some reason so this is going to be kind of short. I didn't do much today, just kinda sat around. I worked on my English project a little bit and I'm almost done with that which makes me rather happy. I was kinda miserable though because I allergy medicine wasn't working as well as normal so I was all stuffed up. I did laundry and watched the 2nd Pirates movie, and I also packed to go to Elon this weekend. I'm hoping I'll be able to blog tomorrow but you never know if I'll have wi-fi at my hotel so be forwarned if there isn't one from me, but I PROMISE that I will post all the gory details about Elon on Saturday night. Well thats all for tonight because I have to get up in the morning and go to work with my mom, so that we can jet off on my first college visit. hahahah. I'm rather excited!! :) Night Lovelies! :)

Feet, Feet, Feet...

So Mikaella has copped out lately and hasn't written about feet, so I think that I shall. Here's a poem:

Life: Pros and Cons

So I again have the horrible feeling of not knowing what to write about, so as I asked Mariah for something to ramble on and on about to my "avid" followers she gave me life. Mikaella then gave me the title to tonights lovely blog Life: Pros and Cons. Now the questions seems to stand are, what are the pros and cons of life and am I going to tell you about them??? Well I do believe that because I have led you on this long I figure I should at least give you a little list of pros and cons. So here we go...

PROS:

Well there are my pros and cons of life, with a little help from some lovely friends. hahah.

Life today was good, continuing on with our conversation about life. I had the whole day to myself. I tanned, I read, I cleaned a little bit, and now I get to spend an amazing amount of time with one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world and her equally amazing little sister. Life is good and it is the people in your life that make it truly as great and amazing as it should be.

Today...pretty uneventful. I went to work with my mom, got some homework done, then my mom and I went to look for prom dresses, I didn't find any. I did find a dress but its not promy but I still got it, its pretty cute. Thats about it for today. I'm so excited to hang out with Mariah and Kaka tomorrow night, after I sit and tan all day tomorrow. Well I'm going to go finish watching Rachel Getting Married and then I'm going to bed. Good Night All!! :)

ummm....

I always feel like I have nothing to say. My Easter was pretty uneventful, we just hung out at the house. My family did an Easter egg hunt in the backyard, and I got a new eco-friendly green houndstooth lunch box. hahaha. I worked on an AP English project and played crochet with my fam; it happens to be a pretty fun game. I came in 3rd, but considering my mom was the one teaching us how to play and she came in last I thought that I did rather well. I also talked to my dad tonight which is always nice. I don't think that my stepmom understands the pressures that I am under with 2 AP classes at this point in the year. She asked me if I wanted to fly up and visit, and when I said I couldn't because I of school she did understand why my family wasn't more important. And while my family is very important to me, school right now needs to be my top priotority.

Oh, today I also found out that I'm going to be chilling home alone this week because my stepdad is taking my sister up to New York to visit his mom. While I would have loved to make that trip, I am unbelievably excited for the time alone.

Well I need to go to bed because I'm getting up and going to work with my mom tomorrow, so that we can go look for prom dresses afterward because we didn't get to it today.

SPPRRRIIIINNNNGGGG!!! :)

So today was the first "real" day of spring break and it was rather nice. I got to sleep until 10, played Super Mario Brothers Wii, and being the nerd I am worked on an AP English project. And as I sit here tonight, I am thinking about how great Spring Break is going to be, I'm thinking about sitting here blogging tonight I feel like I'm not talking about anything. So I'm not sure what I'm up to tomorrow, but my family isn't the most religious so we aren't going to church, so we don't really have any plans. I hoping that my mom and I will be able to go out and look at prom dresses. Idk, if we will though, I hope so.

Well thats all for tonight because I'm getting kinda tired.

Day numero dos

So this is the second day of BEDA. It was a good day and I am starting to enjoy blogging again. Today was actually a pretty good day. I had a really hard pre-cal test first period and and DBQ fourth and other than that my day was pretty chill. When I got home I changed and sat out and tanned for a couple of hours while reading John Green's Looking For Alaska, which happens to be a rather interesting book. I think that my day was so much more appealing because it was the start of a week off of school to recharge before gearing up for AP exams and finals. After tanning today, I notice that I had tan lines, which most wouldn't be very happy about but that is the one way that I know that I am getting darker. YAY!! :) One thing that came with tanning this afternoon was that my allergies popped up and for the rest of the night I have been pretty miserable. I have no real plans for spring break other than hanging out with Mariah on Wednesday and possibly spending the night at her house on Tuesday!! :) Well I'm going to bed because I'm not feeling great, but hopefully tomorrow is better. Also tomorrow I hope that my post is more inspiring.

BEDA has begun...

So I broke my resolution about blogging once a week. First off, I want to say that I am truly sorry for that. My excuse is that I got bogged down with AP classes and life got in the way and you all know how it goes. Well there's my rant about why I didn't blog, all I have to say is that I'M SORRY!!

While its been a while since I have blogged and a lot has happened since then, so I guess I should catch you up. Well early January that boyfriend, that I was so excited about in November, and I broke up. Its fine, I've been over it for months and everything is better now that it was from October to January. Next I turned 17 in early March, and while I don't feel any different than I did at 16, I know that these next few birthdays are important and life is only going to continue to get harder and the years that come and the decisions that I make in those coming years are going to be extremely important. Well that was your catch-up on Caitlin time so now I guess I should tell you about my day.

As it being April 1st I was fully expecting to get pranked at least once, and to my surprise I didn't get pranked at all it was kind of nice. I'm super nervous about a math test that I have tomorrow because this past chapter in pre-cal was really super hard. hahaha. My AP English teacher is completely crazy and doesn't know what the heck she is talking about, and seems to be a compulsive liar. Also I have a DBQ tomorrow in history that I think I might actually be ready for.

Oh one more thing before I go to bed for the night, I preparing to starting a new project of painting quotes on the walls in my room, so if you have any quotes that you find extremely inspirational let me know because I need to find some that really speak to me! ")

Well that's all for now, and I think I'm gonna go to bed, but one thing is for sure I am less than 24 hours, an incredibly hard math test, and a DBQ before Spring Break has begun, and I for one cannot wait. I need the tan and the time off from school to regroup and gear up for AP exams, finals, and Summer which will be here around the corner and I have a feeling will be an AMAZING one.
